In an effort to get away from the freezing temps in New York City, I headed down to Florida for a tropical getaway. I want to share with you how I put together some of my latest Di&Co pieces for springy outfits that worked perfectly for that Florida humidity and sunshine…when I wasn’t wearing a swimsuit, of course. Got a vacay of your own coming up? Get inspired and be sure to ask your Dia Stylist for a vacation-ready Dia Box.

I paired olive green shorts with a striped button-up and added a pair of brown platform wedges and my signature hand-painted brown leopard tote. To give it my own flair, I knotted the top and cuffed the sleeves. A pair of sunglasses completed the look, making it sunshine-ready. This was a great look for a seaside brunch. Lobster nachos anyone?

A gingham skirt is quintessential spring. I threw on a strapless bra and let my shoulders see the sunshine for the first time in many months. I opted for a bright blue cami and my favorite trusty white mules. The best thing about this skirt? It’s actually a skort, with shorts underneath! Meaning I can bend and snap without a worry. I loved wearing this for a day of shopping and exploring the beach town.

In an attempt to avoid being the chronic over-packer I am, I re-wore my favorite white mules for this springy outfit that was the perfect look to wear for a day of playing shuffleboard and sipping cocktails. I’ve found white shorts to be extremely versatile and they paired perfectly with this floral button-up. I brought my own touch to the look with one of my sunny hand-painted handbags, just in case the Florida sunshine wasn’t enough.
