My conclusion: A pleasure practice is a powerful (and shockingly simple) antidote for the pain of self-consciousness we all sometimes feel. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Looking at the beautiful <\/span>new lingerie capsule collection we just launched<\/span><\/a>, designed with feedback from our community, it\u2019s hard not to have pleasure on the brain.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s why I\u2019m so into starting a pleasure practice. What is it that, you ask? It\u2019s simple. It\u2019s the act of engaging with pleasure in ways that feel good to you. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We experience pleasure all the time, at various moments throughout our days. But what if, in the middle of a moment of pleasure\u2014when the icy cold milk from your bowl of cereal hits your tongue\u2014we pause, do what sex therapist Sonalee Rashatwar calls \u201cdropping into your body\u201d and appreciate the moment?<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don\u2019t get me wrong: stepping into a piece from our lingerie capsule is bound to leave you (and anyone in your orbit) with sex on the mind. But pleasure is about so much more.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since our Instagram Live! with Sonalee, I\u2019ve tried to live in the moment of a pleasure practice, too. I\u2019ve stepped outside during a snowstorm and let some flakes melt on my skin (I grew up in Kuwait; snow is still super exciting to me). I\u2019ve breathed in the smell of fresh herbs as the heat from roasted veggies made them release their oils. This took almost no time, cost me nothing and yet left me feeling instantly better.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My conclusion: A pleasure practice is a powerful (and shockingly simple) antidote for the pain of self-consciousness we all sometimes feel. Can you take the pleasure practice challenge?
