Summer is in full bloom and temperatures are at their peak all across the country. I don’t know about you but sweat has been enemy number one to my cool, calm and collected summer look. So I turned to our community to get us some tips from our resident fashionistas on how they beat the heat in style and make it look easy.

How do you prevent sweat from ruining your summer makeup look?
I love setting with a translucent powder in my T-zone and letting it ”bake” while I do my eyebrows or other areas of my face. Choose one that is good for your skin type. For oily skin, I like the Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder and for dry skin, the Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder is great. A great primer makes a world of a difference as well!

How do you combat frizzy hair in the summer?
I always deep condition once a week with a leave-in mask, prep my hair with Briogeo Farewell Frizz Spray, and then finger coil my curls with Miss Jessie’s Quick Curls leave-in. Not touching my hair is key to a frizz-free mane. If I am styling my hair up I always use a strong hold gel that doesn’t flake or make the hair crunchy.
