It’s spring cleaning season—which means you may have a pile of items sitting in your house that no longer spark joy. Many charities report a particular need for plus-size clothing donations, so it’s a great time to both clean out your closet and do some good. Plus-size women from all walks of life deserve gorgeous clothing and the confidence boost that comes from a cute new outfit, so consider these options before you complete your closet purge this season.

1. Bottomless Closet

Bottomless Closet is a charity that helps empower New York City women enter the workforce and achieve success, providing them with the tools and resources they need to get back on their feet. They’re on the lookout for any and all donations of plus-size women’s professional clothing, specifically in sizes 18-30—that includes suits, separates, and dresses. They’re also in need of shoe sizes 7-10 (and up), and especially looking for half sizes. If you live in the tristate area, you may drop off your donations at their location during dropoff hours. If you’re not in NYC, you can pop your donations in the mail or organize a donation drive on their behalf.
