Feeling confident from head to toe can sometimes feel like a struggle. Even women who make their living walking on runways or modeling the latest styles have to learn to appreciate every part.

On the set of our latest style guide shoot, we asked the models to tell us about their relationships to their bodies. Here’s what these three incredible women had to say.

Learning how to style and working as a model has helped me feel more confident.

“My favorite part of my body is my legs. They’re the foundation of all of my curves. If I can find any way to show them off, I will. The body part that was the hardest to learn to love was probably my tummy area—but learning how to style and working as a model has helped me feel more confident showing it off.”

Being in the plus-size industry made me think, ‘You know what? If they can do it, I can do it too.’

“I love my hips. Bodycon dresses and slim-fitting jeans are my favorite. It took a little longer to love my arms and my legs. I only started wearing shorts five years ago. For so long, I was always covering up my legs and arms. But being in the plus-size industry opened up a door for me to let go of my insecurities. It’s made me think, ‘You know what? If they can do it, I can do it too.’”

I’ve learned to love my body at every size.

“I’ve always loved the shape of my body—especially my legs, which is sometimes difficult to do. But the part I had to grow to love was my stomach. I always thought that if you’re plus size, you had to have one kind of shape. And that’s not true. We all have different bodies, and I’ve really grown to love mine these past few years. And even though my body’s changed so much my entire life—I’ve been big, skinny, in between—I’ve learned to love it at every size.”

In case you missed it… It’s the hottest week of summer and we’ve been staying cool by showing our entire bodies some love. Join the #DiaArmy by going sleeveless, wearing shorts, rocking a backless shirt, or trying a crop top.

Because every part of you deserves a moment in the sun!
