These 9 Women Are Moving Fashion Forward

Learn all about how these groundbreakers, changemakers, and entrepreneurs are using their platforms to fight sizeism in the fashion industry and beyond.

Here at Dia&Co, we’re devoted to the plus-size fashion community. From the beginning, our goal has been to do our part to combat sizeism by bringing you clothes you really love. And with every new collection or fashion category we design exclusively for sizes 14 and up, that’s exactly what we’re doing.

Back in 2017, we took out a full-page ad in the New York Times to invite designers to #MoveFashionForward by creating pieces in plus sizes. And, over the past two years, more and more brands have expanded their size ranges, which we salute.

But we’ve never wavered on our mission and dedication to only serve plus sizes—and we’re far from alone in our quest. Throughout every industry, from fashion to media to accessibility, there have been standout women who’ve been fighting the good fight since way before body positivity and size inclusivity were trendy. Women who use their careers and platforms to promote size representation and equality at every turn.

We called on these groundbreakers, changemakers, and entrepreneurs to model our favorite fall styles. Because, after all, great fashion that fits is an important stop on the road to size equality. Follow along throughout the season as we hear from these incredible women and release more styles from our fall collection.

So let’s get ready to not only #MoveFashionForward, but to move forward the lives and experiences of women sizes 14 and up, everywhere.
